- ➤ Wayne County Children's Resource Fund awarded $33,000 in grants to nine local nonprofits on Dec. 11, including Wooster’s Adaptive Sports Ohio, to boost programs that remove barriers like poverty and bullying for youth in the area. The Daily Record

- ➤ On Dec. 11, the Department of Education settled to end the Biden-era SAVE student loan plan, affecting over 1.7 million Ohio borrowers with average debts around $35,072. Borrowers must choose a new repayment plan soon, with a new RAP option coming by July 1. The Daily Record
