Good morning, Wooster.

Drivers can use tire chains in Ohio and Kentucky—state laws allow chains if they meet specific size and spacing rules and require slowing to a 25 mph top speed to protect vehicles in wintry conditions.

Those traveling in snow, ice, and slush should follow the guidelines to avoid damage to their cars.

Residents presented an 83-signature petition and photos at a November council meeting to urge repairs on Allensworth Drive; Mayor James Clark said officials know the road is in poor condition but repairs are delayed due to a lack of materials and a broken repair machine—he noted that the petition and photos will be added to the public record.
