Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 14th of November.
Good morning, Wooster.
💼 Business
Target now has a new 10-4 policy that makes employees smile, make eye contact, wave, and greet customers when they are close—an effort to boost customer connection ahead of the holiday season.
Some workers have shared their concerns on Reddit about feeling forced to show more cheer, and the retailer plans to roll out the new rule soon.
🏥 Health
Pomerene Hospital has added two new providers — certified nurse practitioner Jodi Swihart, with 14 years of experience, and physician assistant Brayden Chaney from Holmes County, to its Millersburg care teams.
Swihart now welcomes patients at Pomerene Family Care while Chaney will begin seeing patients at the Millersburg Internal Medicine office in early 2026.
