- ➤ Lincoln Way Vineyards hosted the third Grape Stomp 5K — growing from 120 to 165 runners — which raised funds for PAWS to help the Wayne County Dog Shelter and pay for a mobile adoption unit costing $270,000. Vineyard owner Jim Borton, who adopted a shelter dog 15 years ago, said the run brought the community together. The Daily Record

- ➤ Norwayne made crucial plays in the fourth quarter when quarterback Jacob Bruner threw to tight end Braylon Arnold to keep the drive going & running back Carson Arnold rushed for a touchdown to give a 24 to 16 win over Smithville.
