- ➤ On Oct 7, Hiland clinched the outright IVC South volleyball championship by beating Ridgewood in three sets while the school's athletic teams also recorded strong wins—boys golf advanced to state after winning their district and both boys and girls soccer teams secured key victories over local rivals. The boys soccer team beat Tri-Valley and Minerva and the girls soccer team won over West Holmes and Norwayne, strengthening their postseason push. The Bargain Hunter
