- ➤ On Sept. 25th, more than 650 people joined the Wayne County Heart Walk at Kean Elementary and Kinney Field, raising over $219,000 to support the American Heart Association and teach hands-only CPR. Survivors, local companies + volunteers united to advance life-saving skills in our community. The Daily Record
- ➤ On September 26, Central Christian School held its 56th Annual Community Service Day where students and staff helped local nonprofits by painting, power washing, baking cookies and distributing mulch—work that benefited nonprofits, churches and neighborhoods in Wayne, Holmes and Stark counties. High school students served 17 groups while younger students washed ambulances and cleaned parks to help fund tuition assistance. The Daily Record
