EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Tri-County Educational Service Center invites students in grades 4 to 7 to try out for the Children's Chorus with voice placements on Sept. 23—director Alex Looney will assess their abilities. Rehearsals will begin on Sept. 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and will help shape the new ensemble.  The Daily Record
  • Today, Waynedale High School hosts its Fall Homecoming football game against Smithville, and three seniors—Ashtyn Miller, Jorjia Persinger, and Kimberly Swartzentruber—are competing for homecoming queen; a dance will be held tomorrow.  The Daily Record
