ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Ohio hummingbirds are set to begin their southward journey this fall as daylight decreases — experts say feeders can remain up until October to help the birds gather energy for the trip to wintering areas in Mexico and Central America. HEALTH NEWS

  • Ohio Governor Mike DeWine called kratom an imminent public health risk and asked the Board of Pharmacy to ban both natural and synthetic forms in August — his office linked the herbal extract to overdose deaths.
