- ➤ On Sept. 6, 2025, the Wayne County Fair featured animal shows, a flag raising ceremony & the crowning of fair royalty. Organizers held rabbit judging, steer displays, goat contests & horse pulls that drew many local families. The Daily Record

CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Wayne Center for the Arts is a finalist for the Levitt Music Series Grant — it will receive funding for seven free summer concerts if enough votes are cast by Sept. 15. The vote will help the center move to the final round and bring live music to its Walnut Street School lawn each summer from 2026 to 2028. The Daily Record
