- ➤ On Sept. 25, Todd Kleismit, executive director of America 250-Ohio Commission, will speak at *5:30 p.m.* at the Best Western Wooster Hotel and Conference Center to outline plans for America’s 250th anniversary. The Wooster-Wayne Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is gathering local event information until Sept. 22. The Daily Record
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Starting Sept. 14, eleven local historical societies will host open house events from 1 to 4 p.m. on four Sundays and one event on Oct. 12 to honor local figures—from war heroes to teachers—as part of the Historical Figures of Wayne County Tour in locations such as Dalton, Mt. Eaton, Apple Creek, Orrville, Wooster and West Salem. The series, part of the America 250-Ohio celebration, offers free admission and refreshments at each venue. The Daily Record
