- ➤ The Wayne County Fair will run Sept. 6 through Sept. 11—showcasing Budweiser Clydesdales and renovations to the Coliseum. The event will offer new attractions and fun experiences for local families. The Daily Record
- ➤ The AAUW and Kiwanis Book Sale returns Sept. 23—27 at Buss Hall on the Wayne County Fairgrounds with over 45,000 books available for $1 to $6. An Early Bird preview will be held Tuesday from 4—8 p.m. for $10 admission and the proceeds will support AAUW scholarships and Kiwanis youth programs. The Daily Record

- ➤ The Killbuck Early American Days Parade 2025 offered local families a festive display with firetrucks, floats, queens, entertainers, classic cars, and the West Holmes band—while a tribute to 125 years of KSB brought history to life. The Daily Record

- ➤ The YMCA of Wayne County started a before and after school program at Millersburg Elementary School in Holmes County—partnering with United Way to improve childcare for working families. The organization will soon launch a preschool for children 6 weeks to 6 years old—expanding its services in the area. The Daily Record

- ➤ Chippewa edged Norwayne 1-0 when forward Delaney Marshall scored the late goal on Tuesday evening—both teams played hard as Chippewa took 29 shots in a match marked by intense rivalry and solid defense from Norwayne. The Daily Record
