- ➤ North Lawrence Fire Department paused its online fundraising raffles to follow a new directive from the Ohio Attorney General & must now use paper tickets for each drawing. The department said that tickets already purchased remain valid & it will work with state officials on a compromise while arguing the rule is outdated. The Daily Record

- ➤ The FDA recalled Great Value frozen shrimp sold at Walmart in Ohio after tests found they may contain radioactive Cesium-137, which could lead to long-term health risks. Consumers should not eat any two-pound bags (lot codes 8005540-1, 8005538-1, 8005539-1, best by 3/15) and must throw them away immediately. The Daily Record
- ➤ Valley fever (a fungal lung infection) has been confirmed in 12 new Ohio cases this year, raising the total to 29 since August 2024. Symptoms include fever, cough and fatigue, and most patients recover without treatment while severe cases may need antifungal medication. The Daily Record
