- ➤ The Sonnenberg Homecoming event has been renamed the Sonnenberg Village Festival to show its welcoming spirit in Southeastern Wayne County. - ➤ Several events are happening this week in Holmes and Wayne counties as locals can attend the Orrville Senior Fun Fair on Aug. 5 at Orrville Christian Church, a free heart talk on Aug. 6 at Aultman Hospital, and the Holmes County Fair running today through Aug. 9 at Harvest Ridge. - ➤ Cucurbit downy mildew has been confirmed in several counties including Wayne, Holmes, and Medina with tests done by area growers and OSU experts at the Wooster campus.
