- ➤ The Perseid meteor shower is set to become active today and will last until Aug. 23 while peaking Aug. 12—13 with up to 100 meteors visible per hour under clear skies. Two other showers, the Southern delta Aquarids and the alpha Capricornids, will peak between July 29—30 and local dark sky sites are recommended for the best viewing. The Daily Record
- ➤ Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter David Leonard will perform at 6:30 p.m. July 25 at Fisher Auditorium on the OARDC Wooster campus to launch Wayne County’s week of outreach. ReviveOHIO will host a prayer and learning gathering at Orrville Baptist Church on July 20 — local churches will also support the week with meals and daily testimonies. The Daily Record
