Rainbow of Hope, a charity that supports families with sick children, will host its annual benefit auction at Mt. Hope Event Center on July 25-26—featuring an auctioneer’s contest, a fish fry, and bidding on items ranging from furniture to livestock.

The two-day event will raise funds to provide care for children in need.

Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties will hold its Big Haul Sale at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on Aug.

9 from 9 a.m. + 3 p.m. during Ohio's sales tax holiday Aug. 1-14, letting shoppers fill a bag with unsorted items for $5. Clothing, shoes, books, toys and discounted furniture will be available + 90 cents of every dollar spent will go to local job training and case management programs.
