Good morning, Wooster.

OneEighty was named a Top Workplace by Cleveland.com & The Plain Dealer for the small business category in Northeast Ohio based on employee surveys by Energage, marking its fourth consecutive year of recognition.

The company achieved a 79% survey completion rate from employees in 11 counties including Wayne and said its mission drives a strong workplace culture.

A 54-year-old Wooster man was charged with felonious assault and improper discharging of a firearm when a shot fired in the Aultman Orrville Hospital emergency department on July 2—he was taken into custody minutes later—with no injuries reported as the investigation continues.

A poll and guide offer Wooster residents tips to help their pets feel safe during July Fourth fireworks—owners are encouraged to give extra exercise and create a quiet space for their pets before celebrations.

Experts advise securing pet ID and checking fences to reduce the chance of pets escaping during the noise.
