Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 1st of July.
Good morning, Wooster.
🏥 Health
Ohio is under a heat advisory this week as temperatures feel like 105 degrees - local officials urge residents to stay hydrated, take breaks in the shade, and check on at-risk neighbors and pets to prevent heat-related illnesses.
Today's heat wave is straining the power grid as heavy AC use may lead to outages.
Local utility providers offer outage maps and hotlines while experts advise residents to stay cool, hydrate, and prepare emergency supplies — steps that are key for safety.
