- ➤ In May, the Wayne County Community Foundation board approved GIVE 365 grants awarding $26,500 to five nonprofits that support local food programs, telehealth mental health services and youth mentorship, including a grant to the Boys + Girls Club for its Healthy for Me program. - ➤ Mike Schmitz, the former head coach of College of Wooster's football team who led them to a 78-54 record, died Sunday, June 1 at age 72. He coached for 18 seasons—guiding the team to its first NCAA Division III Championship appearance. The Bargain Hunter
