Good morning, Wooster.

At Norwayne High School today, Wayne County law enforcement joined about 78 students from 10 schools for the annual 'Cops and Kids Best Day Ever' event — an experience that promoted inclusion and trust among participants.

Ohio health officials note that three tick species, American dog tick, blacklegged tick, and lone star tick, are increasingly active and urge Wooster residents to use repellents and check for ticks daily to avoid Lyme disease and other illnesses.

The program also offers educational materials to help users understand their readings and take charge of their health.
