- ➤ The Carroll County Animal Protection League will begin accepting pet surrenders by appointment starting June 1 and will only take domesticated cats and dogs, while refusing feral or aggressive animals; residents can call 330-476-6234 to schedule an appointment and also get a $35 spay-neuter credit for cats. - ➤ Master Gardener Volunteers completed 10 weeks of intensive classes (including 15-minute presentations) to boost their gardening skills. The Daily Record
- ➤ Master Gardener Volunteers completed a 10-week course on May 17 with 15-minute presentations covering topics (carnivorous plants, vegetable care, herbs, and soil tests) and a final walk at Secrest Arboretum. The course offered practical tips for volunteers. The Daily Record
