- ➤ Justine Geiser, a lifelong resident of Wooster, will turn 100 on May 26—her century birthday is a milestone for the community. The Daily Record
- ➤ Widows, Widowers and Friends—a support group for those who lost loved ones or never married—recently met at Des Dutch Essenhaus and planned a series of events. The group will host bingo at Smithville Western Care Center at 2 p.m. on May 30 with registration ending May 23, will celebrate Vera’s 100th birthday at 1 p.m. on May 14, will hold a show at Ohio Star Theatre on May 29, and will meet on June 3 and July 8. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Team NEO's new CEO, Matt Dolan, visited local companies in Wayne County and met with the Economic Development Council's board to discuss business growth—he toured facilities at Seaman Corporation and Schaeffler and talked about workforce development and infrastructure improvements.
