- ➤ The Wayne Center for the Arts in Wooster will host its free Wednesdays on Walnut summer concert series starting May 28 on its front lawn—featuring live performances from Mo’ Mojo through a British Invasion tribute band ending the series on Aug. 13. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics and seating while beverages are sold in the designated outdoor refreshment area. The Daily Record

- ➤ Darrin Nash, a Wooster native and former district director in Utah, has been named the new principal of Kean Elementary pending board approval.
