EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Northwestern Wayne FFA hosted a Spring Fling event on March 26 where members enjoyed games, music, and food like hot dogs, chips, and ice cream sandwiches. The casual evening brought fun and fellowship among members – a welcome break from routine. The Daily Record
- ➤ The Heartland Technical Education Center board met on April 16 in the board room at the Adult Education Center and recognized students for their achievements while approving preschool tuition at $75 per month for four days a week. The board also announced upcoming events with an adult education graduation at 6 p.m. in May and a senior farewell on May 15 at the Ashland University Convocation Center. The Bargain Hunter

- ➤ Harrison Central’s Lady Huskies went 2-2 this week; they lost 10-3 to Steubenville on April 20 and 6-2 to Edison on April 23, then won 5-3 over Barnesville on April 22 and earned a 4-0 shutout against Oak Glen on April 24. The Bargain Hunter
