  • The 34th annual Wayne County Home & Garden Show continues today at the fairgrounds at 199 Vanover St. — nearly 200 exhibitors display colorful plants and offer home improvement ideas while visitors enjoy a plant sale and kid-friendly activities.  The Daily Record

CULTURE NEWS

  • Wooster Activities Crew held Springfest on April 26 at 6 p.m. in the residential quad with genre-bending Dua Saleh headlining and Australian indie rock singer Birksie opening—students also enjoyed a local band performance and a DJ set from WOO-91—bringing a rich variety of music to the event.  The Wooster Voice

EDUCATION NEWS

  • President Anne McCall announced that distinguished alum Meskerem Brhane ’89 will deliver the main commencement address while Rayan Dos Passos ’25 and Karmellah Buttler ’25 are named as student speakers for the ceremony scheduled for May 17 at 10 a.m. in the Scot Center + Sam Peppers ’25 will provide the invocation with Rev. Matthew E. Davis offering the benediction.  The Wooster Voice
  • Chippewa High School juniors and seniors celebrated their prom with the theme 'A Night in Paris' at Nickajack Farms in North Lawrence on Saturday evening—students marched in a grand parade and enjoyed a buffet to mark the memorable event.  The Daily Record
