EDUCATION NEWS

  • Wooster High School has named Margaret Davis as its new principal pending board approval. Davis served as an assistant and associate principal for three years and brings a strong background in math and education administration — Superintendent Gabe Tudor praised her commitment to students.  The Daily Record
  • The College of Wooster launched a new Musical Theatre pathway that offers four tracks for instrumental, vocal/acting, production—design, and administration. An Opera and Lyric Theatre workshop was held on April 25 at 7 p.m., co-hosted by college professors and featuring student performances that previewed Broadway and film noir Hollywood styles.  The Wooster Voice

SPORTS NEWS

  • Last Saturday, April 19, the Wooster track and field team competed at the Duane Gomez Invitational at Kenyon College where the women’s team finished second and the men’s team took third overall, with several athletes setting personal bests *and distance runners winning the 1500- and 5000-meter events*. The team now prepares for upcoming competitions.  The Wooster Voice
