- ➤ On April 25, job seekers will attend the annual Wayne County Career Expo at the University of Akron Wayne College in Orrville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free event connects attendees with over 50 local employers and suggests business casual attire — job seekers may also bring up to 20 copies of their resume. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Fighting Scots men's lacrosse team beat the Kenyon Owls 13 to 8 in Gambier on April 12th and improved its conference record to 2 to 1 with strong plays from John Allan Ginder and Rowan Piani—fueling new momentum. Today the team travels to Greencastle at 12 p.m. to face the DePauw Tigers—hoping to keep the win streak alive. The Wooster Voice
- ➤ Last weekend, the Wooster World Cup was held on campus with 12 international teams playing three short matches in group stages before advancing to knockout rounds. In the final on April 13, East African Federation won by a penalty in overtime — a decisive kick — and organizers said they will plan next year’s event. The Wooster Voice
- ➤ Dalton's young softball team fought back for a 12+9 win over Mapleton with key plays by Mei Simmons and strong pitching by Skylar Fletcher as they erased an early deficit. Coach Rob Fiesler said the team is learning to work together and will use their momentum as they prepare to face Northwestern, Hillsdale and Norwayne in upcoming games. The Daily Record
