- ➤ Wayne County-based J.M. Smucker Co. offered Artemis II astronauts a lifetime supply of Uncrustables after they returned from their moon mission on April 14, 2026 near Orrville. The astronauts (per federal ethics rules) could not accept the gift. The Daily Record
- ➤ Diehl Automotive Group completed its acquisition of Firelands Toyota and Firelands Volkswagen dealerships and an off-site collision center in Wooster on March 31. The deal expands its operations to 24 dealerships and 11 collision centers across Ohio and Pennsylvania. The Daily Record
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The IRS has processed over 78 million returns and issued 57 million direct deposit refunds so far, and residents filing last minute must submit their tax returns by today or file for an extension to avoid penalties. - ➤ Lacrosse has grown in Ohio high schools since the OHSAA sanctioned it in 2017, with Wooster High School seeing larger rosters and more new players each year — coaches say boys teams include 147 schools and girls teams 144 as interest expands statewide. The Daily Record
