- ➤ Wayne County Dog Shelter always needs supplies and donations to help dogs waiting for a new home—local residents are encouraged to donate items needed to care for these animals. The Daily Record
- ➤ The Wayne County Dog Shelter on state Route 83 north of Wooster received a $7,000 donation from PAWS that paid for spaying and neutering 66 dogs — shelter manager Sommer Foss said the shelter still needs supplies like leashes, collars, and cleaning items. The Daily Record
- ➤ Today, the Wayne County Dog Shelter raised its adoption fee from $75 to $98 to help pay for dog care and facility repairs (floors, roof, and plumbing). The shelter is asking local residents to donate cleaning supplies, toys, and other items to support its work. The Daily Record
