- ➤ MCTV will add Cleveland Guardians games for its basic cable TV customers during the 2025—26 MLB season. The channel will show live regular season games along with coverage before and after games and will be available on channel 632/32 for viewers in Stark, Wayne, Jefferson, Columbiana and Carroll counties. - ➤ The College of Wooster Board of Trustees elected Mark Goodman as its new board chair effective July 1. Goodman, a 1990 graduate and current vice chair who is also chairman of Colorado Nut Holding Company, brings leadership experience from several major companies. The Daily Record
- ➤ Five Wayne County Schools Career Center students competed in Jarrett Fleet Services' first Diesel Technologies Skills Competition as Christian Thomas won first prize and four others received awards for their skills in truck braking systems and engine diagnostics. The event offered a hands-on chance for the students—who are preparing for the 2025 SkillsUSA Competition—and included partners like Centerra and Smetzer Tire. The Daily Record

- ➤ Idaho Smokehouse Partners, LLC is recalling 29,541 pounds of Chomps beef and turkey sticks sold at Costco in Ohio and 21 other states after two customer complaints reported metal pieces in the product+ customers should return any recalled items for a full refund. - ➤ Dalton’s senior Brady Hignight earned First-Team All-Ohio honors after averaging 18.9 points and 8.3 rebounds this season—while Norwayne had four players recognized as All-Ohio honorees as local teams advanced to regionals and district play. - ➤ Massillon-based MCTV signed an agreement with Major League Baseball to broadcast Cleveland Guardians games via Guardians TV for the 2025–26 season.
