- ➤ Wayne County presented awards in Wooster as firefighter Jordon Miller received the Valor Award for rescuing a woman from a burning basement and Assistant Chief Dave Compston was named Firefighter of the Year for his strong community work—Wooster Community Hospital also earned Special Recognition for its support of local EMS. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Cheese made by a Geauga County firm and sold at Aldi stores was recalled on February 15th due to possible stainless steel contamination. The recall affects 4,800 packages of Happy Farms by ALDI Colby Jack cheese distributed in four states, and customers should dispose of the product, as the FDA classified it as a Class II risk on March 19th (this use may cause temporary health effects).
