- ➤ The Good Friday Community Gathering will take place on Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at the Perry Reese Jr. Community Center at Hiland High School for praise + worship, mini-sermons and prayer to unite the community. The Bargain Hunter
- ➤ The Wooster Kiwanis Club will host its annual Pancake Day fundraiser on March 28 at the High School Commons at 515 Oldman Road. Pre-sale tickets cost $6 at Murr Printing, children ages 5 and younger eat free, and proceeds will support local youth programs + community initiatives. The Daily Record

- ➤ The Wooster-Wayne County DAR invites the public to a Women’s History Month program honoring local trailblazers Patricia Purdy + Dr. Maria Sexton at the Orrville Public Library on March 24 at 6:30 p.m. The event will celebrate their lasting contributions. The Daily Record

- ➤ The West Holmes school board approved financial reports, policy updates, and several staffing changes at a March 16 meeting at Nashville Elementary. It also adopted new initiatives including joining two purchasing programs and will hold its next meeting on April 20 at West Holmes Middle School. The Bargain Hunter
