Catholic Charities is expanding its Easter meal program to serve free meals.

Meals will be offered at St. Edward Parish in Ashland (5-6 p.m. on Apr. 1) and St. Stephen Parish in West Salem (5:30-6:30 p.m.), while take-home meals are available Apr. 2 with registration by Mar. 23.

The Wayne County Humane Society in Wooster cared for over 1,600 animals last year and seeks volunteers and donations (volunteer training is monthly).

The shelter will host a St. Patrick’s Day Bowling Fundraiser at Ballerz Sports Club on March 14 and a TNR event from March 7 to 9.
