- ➤ The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has issued guidelines for bat exclusion to protect 13 species, including 4 endangered bats, by mandating one-way exclusion devices during safe periods (April 1–May 15 and Aug. 1–Oct. 15) while allowing indoor sealing anytime if bats enter living spaces.
